Morocco is interested in tourism model of Salou and the Costa Daurada 

The Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Morocco, Lahcen Haddad, and the Consul of Morocco to Tarragona, Abdelfattah Lebbar, were yesterday visiting Salou. During the meeting, they were interested in the tourist town model and future projects to be carried out in the area, showing particular interest in large investments such as Ferrari World Land or BCN.

During the visit, the mayor, Pere Granados, they also explained other city projects such as the development of the sector 03, the Civic or the new Eix Esportiu Port Area Pedrera, among others. Granados explained what the markets are accustomed to visit Salou tourism and what policies are developed to maintain the capital of the Costa Daurada.

The Moroccan Tourism Minister noted that "the purpose of my visit is to meet the leaders of the tourism policy of the municipality and tourism development, as well as new city projects," considering "very important" for the local economy.

In addition to signing the guest book, Lebbar also toured various points of interest such as the Tourist Board, a tourist resort, golf sports complex soccer or Futbol Salou Passeig Jaume I, PortAventura and the Cami de Ronda.

The Mayor was pleased to visit. Mainly because it assures meaning "in recognition of our tourism policy and for collaboration and creating new alliances that remain as the fastest and most effective way to attract new customers." Since the council also insist that their goal is to become stronger in new markets, especially in the current crisis.
